The Mayor of Seville, José Luis Sanz has held a meeting in London within the framework of the international tourism fair, World Travel Market, with Javier Guillermo, International Director of Virtuoso alliances. It is an alliance of the luxury sector, which includes more than 8,900 specialists from 25 countries, including luxury travel agencies worldwide, shipping companies, hotels and tourist destinations. All the member agencies of this alliance have annual sales of 12.5 billion dollars.
During the meeting we reinforced the candidacy of the city of Seville as the venue for the 'Virtuoso Chairman's Event', which brings together the 80 agencies with the highest annual sales volume in the world.
This meeting is of great importance because if Seville is chosen as the venue, we will be visited by the owners of the most influential agencies in the luxury sector and they will be able to see and enjoy our culture, heritage and premium offer.
