The Mayor of Seville, José Luis Sanz received last night the representatives of the Consular Corps in Seville in the Real Alcazar. An event that served to exchange experiences and strengthen institutional relations between the municipal government and the diplomatic representation in the city.

During the meeting, the mayor explained the lines of action of the City Council so that "the city works, recovers the lost space and solves the infrastructure deficit".

Similarly, Sanz said that "the intention of the municipal government is to have a more fluid relationship with the Consular Corps established in Seville and to project in the countries that represent an image of a unique city in the world, with many possibilities, with a great power of attraction to visit, live and invest".

In this line, the first mayor expressed the desire that Seville "again become the capital of Americanism, and therefore we are working so that within the legacy of the Ibero-American Exhibition of 1929 whose centenary we are preparing, there is a space for the Ibero-American House or Casa de America that houses the headquarters of all consulates.

To conclude, José Luis Sanz thanked "the important work of the Consular Corps for the city of Seville" and announced that "we will increase the synergy between both institutions to carry out initiatives that are beneficial to Seville".
