A delegation from the Seville City Council is launching an institutional and business agenda in Mexico City to strengthen the city’s position as a strategic destination for investment and the expansion of international projects

The delegation from the Seville City Council that traveled to Mexico has begun an institutional and business agenda in Mexico City aimed at strengthening the city’s position as a strategic destination for investment, innovation, and the launch of new international projects.

The first meeting of this mission took place with Praxis, a company specializing in digital transformation with an international presence. During the meeting, municipal representatives highlighted Seville’s key strengths as a competitive hub for the development and expansion of technology initiatives.

The delegation from the Seville City Council consisted of Juan Bueno Navarro, Álvaro Pimentel Siles, and Manuel Parejo Guzmán, who presented to the company the city’s capabilities for hosting new business projects linked to innovation and the knowledge economy. During the meeting, the Seville business ecosystem, the availability of qualified talent, the strength of its universities, the role of Seville TechPark, the city’s connectivity, and the tools available to support investment and job creation were highlighted.

At the meeting, Praxis expressed its interest in continuing to evaluate Seville as a potential location for the development of a technology hub as part of its expansion strategy in Spain and Europe, which underscores the city’s appeal to international companies seeking competitive, well-connected environments capable of supporting their growth.

Representing Praxis Global at the meeting were Lizeth Luz Franco, Jacqueline Camarillo, and Gloria Zúñiga Chávez, whose participation helped strengthen the dialogue between the two parties and open up new opportunities for collaboration in the fields of technology and business.

This meeting marks the start of a series of events that will take place from the 20th to the 24th of this month in Mexico City and Monterrey, with the goal of continuing to promote Seville as a strategic business destination and as a gateway to the European market for companies with an international focus.

With this mission, the Seville City Council, through Sevilla Open for Business, continues to promote an active strategy to attract investment and support businesses, aimed at establishing the city as a leading hub for innovative projects that create jobs and have the potential to add value to the local economy.
